What piece of advice has stuck with you from when you first learned to windsurf?
One just stuck on me two weeks ago: never hold on to the equipment from the top of the mast, or you’ll end up with a fractured middle finger!
Most unusual place you’ve ever been:
Kilimanjaro National Park, Kenya.
Song guaranteed to pump you up before a session:
Anything by Radiohead or Muse.
Red Bull or coffee?
Coffee all the way!
Most surreal session:
Some rare, off-season late sessions at Ho’okipa with 3-4 sailors have been pretty memorable.
Worst place to take a first date:
A fast food restaurant!
Favorite thing to do after windsurfing:
Chill out with my husband.
If you could pass one thing on to the next generation of windsurfers, what would it be?
Enjoy every moment…you never know when it’s going to end.
