My philosophy of life is….
Life is what you make of it.

When was the last time you were stoked out of your mind?
Last week.  Luckily that happens a lot.

What are you craving at this very moment?
Waves

If your house was on fire, what’s the first thing you’d grab?
The fire hose that I keep next to the house.

Best post-session meal?
Taco Bell.

What’s the best advice anyone ever gave you?
Buy real estate.

What’s the luckiest thing that’s ever happened to you?
Being raised in Hawaii.

Are you a spender or a saver?
A saver.

If your life were a song, what would the title be?
Old school: Talk Talk’s “Life’s what you make it”; New school: Awolnation’s “Sail.”  But I could use a bunch of different songs. Music is amazing.

If you could pass one thing on to the next generation of windsurfers, what would it be?
A passion for life, and living it to the fullest, and a passion for sport and the healthy lifestyle that it promotes.
